They're a misfit band of rogue soldiers trying to restore some form of order to the Riverlands...using chaos, and they're led by a man who's died and been reborn more times than most people can remember. The Brotherhood Without Banners were damn cool, but the saddest thing is that I've had to use the word 'were'. The group simply disappeared. They were dropped from proceedings and that was the end of that, as if they'd never existed. They've barely been mentioned since, and all traces of their legacy have been wiped from the show. They were really starting to create dramatic, intriguing storylines, but it all came to an end in a heartbeat. We'd love to see them return to the fold, but it would take a lot of circumstances for that to happen, and Season 6 looks too early. They could've been so much fun to follow, but it wasn't to be.
