Game Of Thrones: 10 Characters We Desperately Want To Survive Season Five

"All men must die"... just hopefully not any of these.

If you€™re a fan of Game of Thrones, you€™ve no doubt learned by now not to get too attached to any one character on the show. In season four the writers spent the majority of the episodes teasing us into being drawn in by the charismatic charm of Oberyn Martell, only to have him ripped from our hearts with the sickening squish of an imploding skull. It€™s a cruel reality you must come to accept if you€™re going to immerse yourself in the land of the seven kingdoms. The very nature of the show could potentially render this entire article moot before anyone has a chance to read it with the way the bodies pile up in Westeros and beyond. George R.R. Martin is rivalled only by Grey€™s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes and heart disease in the amount of lives they prematurely end. The game of thrones itself is a dangerous one, and viewers must play at their own emotional risk. There are some characters who are extremely integral €“ whether due to our enjoyment of their exploits or their necessity to the overall plot €“ that it seems unfathomable that they could meet an untimely demise. However, we€™ve thought that before and it€™s meant nothing to the cold-hearted writers of one of television€™s top series. But nevertheless, let€™s make an attempt at naming 10 characters who we desperately want to survive season five.
