7. Building The Wall

Here's a totally off-the-wall (pun very much intended) flashback that could be built just for the show. The Wall is suddenly the most important structure in all of Westeros as the White Walkers make their long-awaited advance.

If and when the eventual warfare arrives at the Wall, wouldn't it be great to see a scene depicting the ancient builders crafting it? It's more than just ice, it's magic keeping the White Walkers at bay.

It wouldn't need to be overly-complex, but a short scene showing it's creation and the power going into it could be immense, unlike anything seen on Thrones. It could even be a silent scene, just something to make the audience's jaw drop before cutting back to present day and the carnage going on around it.
