Five seasons later… score a major win for the good guys! After the deplorable King Joffrey left the show to raucous applause, fans were left clamouring for a villain of pitch black alignment to truly loathe amongst all the shades of varyingly lit grey. Enter Ramsay.

His twisted depravity was made overly clear through several seasons in which Ramsay’s heinous acts grew increasingly exploitative, culminating in the upsetting rape of Sansa Stark. By the time the sixth season rolled along, there were few fans who weren’t yearning for Ramsay to meet an outrageously violent end.

And so it was to mass delight that the bastard Ramsay finally met his match against Jon Snow in an epic clash at Winterfell. If Jon smashing Ramsay’s facial features approximately 187 times into a bloody mess wasn’t enough catharsis for fans, then the sight of Sansa herself setting Ramsay’s own famished dogs to feast on the juicy remains of his face more than did the job.

If Ramsay Bolton thought this had a happy ending, he wasn’t paying attention…
