5. Baelish Moves For The Throne
Another man with ridiculous potential is Petyr Baelish. Littlefinger is an accent-wavering, piece-moving, long-standing schemer with a total disregard for anybody who stands in his way of shaping the world. He probably wouldn't be the worst king, but will Baelish ever make a move for the top rung on his 'ladder of chaos'? I'd like to think that he will. He's growing friends in the East of Westeros, Sansa (if she had stayed in place) was his key to the North, his dealings with the Tyrells gives him a certain influence in the West, and there's plenty of time for deals to be struck with Dorne in the South. If he can achieve all of those friends in high places, who could put a ceiling on his progress? Personally, while I'd like to see him make a move, he's always been the man behind the scenes, but even making a play to become Hand of the King is remarkable enough for him. Could he go through with it?
