Game Of Thrones: 10 Reasons That Character Isn't Really Dead

Here's another telling quote, this time from Carice van Houten. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal last month after she tried to seduce Jon, the actress had this to say:

"And there’s also something else about him that we don’t really reveal. In the series we don’t find out just yet what it is. And it’s not just an attraction from female to male. Yes, he’s an attractive young man but that’s not her main goal, I think."

So the actress is confirming that there's another reason Melisandre is drawn to Jon, and it's something that the audience is going to find out soon. This fits in pretty nicely to the theory that she's going to raise him from the dead, and that she senses that he is the Lord of Light reborn. 

In fact, a lot of fans have even speculated that the crew already filmed the scene of Melisandre resurrecting Jon, which would explain why the actress is even aware of this. That seems to be reaching a little bit, but either way, just the idea that van Houten knows why Melisandre is strongly drawn to Jon is some pretty good evidence for her bringing him back next season.
