Game Of Thrones: 10 Reasons That Character Isn't Really Dead

3. This Quote From Kit Harington

Kit Harington may not be so good at keeping the secret in interviews after all. Take a look at this interview Harington did with The Daily Beast before Season 5:

"...he’s acutely aware of imminent danger—which is all around him...and there’s a point at the end of the season where we see that very clearly. It’s the lowest place he’s ever been, and that’s going to push him to do quite extreme things in the future.”

Did you catch that? He refers to events at the end of the season as the lowest place Jon's ever been, which seems to refer to the betrayal, and then says this will push Jon to do extreme things in the future, implying there is a future for him after his lowest point.

His phrasing of "the future" clearly doesn't refer to the last few episodes, because he refers to those as "towards the end of the season." In other words, these are two separate things in Harington's mind: the end of the season and the future. If Jon really was dead, the only future he could be talking about would be the end of Season 5, but here, he's clearly telling us about Jon's actions in Season 6.

Either Harington was lying in this interview but not the Entertainment Weekly one, or he just completely slipped and accidentally revealed that he'll be returning.
