Game Of Thrones: 10 Things That Will Definitely Happen In Season 7
2. Cersei Is Going To Die
It's hard to believe how far Cersei has come in the last season, from her "shame"ful walk of atonement to literally blowing up a huge chunk of King's Landing, obliterating multiple main characters and dozens (hundreds?) of others. While the show managed to make viewers feel bad for Cersei during her naked jaunt through the city, the closing shot of season six - Cersei's crowning on the Iron Throne - evinced an even broader array of emotions: disgust, awe and hell, even a little bit of excitement.
Sadly for Cersei, there's no way any of this is going to last. Cersei is a character whose number has potentially been up for a good while, and now that she's pissed off basically the whole of Westeros by violently installing herself as Queen, she's going to be on a lot of people's hit lists. Hell, even her own brother looks disgusted by her.
The fact is, Cersei is too unstable a character to keep around for the final episodes. She's alienated everyone who cares for her, and following the suicide of Tommen has almost nothing to live for. Speaking of which, remember the flashback in season five depicting a teenage Cersei? She's told by a fortune teller named Maggy that not only will her children die before her (an accurate claim), but that though she'll one day be Queen, it won't be for very long.
Expect her dramatic demise somewhere around the close of season seven.
