In season three, Jon Snow breaks his vow of chastity when he and Ygritte get it on in the wildling version of a hot tub. What did he get for his trouble? An arrow through the shoulder from the one he loves. Despite the emotional and physical anguish he's experiencing, Jon Snow broke one oath to fulfill another duty by acting as a spy in the wildings's camp and then escaping to warn the Night's Watch of the wildings's war plans.
