Game Of Thrones: 12 Big Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 7

2. How Will R+L=J Change The Show?

Finally, we know. Sure, we've always known, but now it is 100% confirmed and official (in the show at least). Fans have waited years for the truth about Jon's parentage, but now we have it, how will the reveal that, yes, R+L does equal J change the show?

In an immediate sense, it won't really alter that much. The only person who knows is Bran, and he's currently Beyond-the-Wall. Jon and Daenerys, the two it most directly impacts, have no knowledge of it.

It's when the knowledge does become known that things will start to change. If and when Bran gets to Winterfell and tells Jon (or if he finds out some other way, but then what's the point of Bran learning it?), then he's going to have some decisions to make. Does he stay in the North as King, or will he go seek out Daenerys? Will anyone else learn the truth, and if so, will it change Jon's standing - they accepted Ned's bastard, but would they accept someone who isn't Ned's at all?
