Game Of Thrones: 12 'Oh It's That Guy From That Thing' Actors

A Little Bit More GOT Trivia

theon600Theon Greyjoy (aka Alfie Allen): Is in fact the son of Keith Allen (Sheriff of Notthingham in the BBC Robin Hood drama) and brother of singer, Lily Allen. You know that song she wrote about Alfie? Guess who the inspiration was! Xaro Xhoan Daxos (aka Nonso Anozie): Played Tank in Guy Ritchie's gritty Brit-flick 'RockNRolla'. He also starred as Burke alonside Liam Neeson in 'The Grey'. Jojen Reed (aka Thomas Brodie-Sangster): Oh yeah... he's Liam Neeson's stepson in Love Actually AND the voice of Ferb in the hit kid's show, Phineas and Ferb. What a career already! Melisandre (aka Carice van Houten): No, not Denise - don't get them mixed up. Carice in fact, played Tom Cruise's missus in Valkyire as well as a role alongside Jude Law in Miguel Sapochnik's Repo Men. Karl (aka the guy who called Craster a bastard) (aka Burn Gorman): He's only Owen from Torchwood! Where did he even crop up from? First in the Dark Knight Rises and now in this. Not that your not welcome Burn - the more the merrier. Rodrick Cassel (aka Ron Donachie): After getting his head chopped off by Lily Allen's brother, Ron Donachie appeared in the rather limp seventh (or eight of ninth - I've lost count) series of Waterloo Road, as Mr Burn's dying old man. Maester Luwin (aka Donald Sumpter): Sumpter played Inspector Morrel in David Fincher's English adaption of Stieg Larsson's popular novel, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Talisa Maegyr (aka Oona Chaplin): Appeared as a receptionist in Quantum of Solace. Next time you watch it (if ever again!), keep an eye out for her. Margaery Tyrell (aka Natalie Dormer): Played a particularly sexy version of Anne Boleyn in a particularly sexy version of the Tudors. Her dresses seemed to have very little fabric in that show too - we're on to you Dormer! Ramsay Snow (aka Iwan Rheon): Hm, not sure if we're meant to know he's Ramsay Snow yet but anyway, Iwan Rheon played the affable Simon in Misfits... before it went drastically downhill. I'm putting it down to his departure to be honest with you. And there you have it. All those faces you could never quite place, well hopefully I've just done it for you! I could have gone on but quite frankly, I need to get back to revising for my exams. Plus, I would hate to take advantage of the time and attention of my valued readers. I hope you enjoyed the article, and please, leave comments in the box below if you think I've missed anything so glaringly obvious!
