12. Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann)
To get the ball rolling, I'll start with the man I'm certain that (IMDB Cast List Stalkers aside) you will not have realized plays Lurch in Hot Fuzz... Yes, The Hound is 'Yarp Man'. Edgar Wright's black comedy stars Rory McCann as brainless goon, Michael Armstrong, or Lurch as Nick Frost so pleasantly refers to him as. Learning his lines would not have been McCann's most taxing of jobs throughout filming, as he manages to produce little more than a grunt of an agreement throughout the duration of the film. But he's there nonetheless, with a modest amount of screen time and fight sequence with Simon Pegg involving a giant monkey and a Japanese Peace Lilly - what more can you ask of from a role? His filmography does not boast much else - bar small roles in Alexander and Clash of the Titans - as well a few television appearances. However, playing Lurch is more than enough to establish you as a recognizable face to the masses...
