11. Can Tyrion And Varys Stabilise Meereen?

What a partnership, what a duo, what a reunion. There's just something about Tyrion and Varys that is utterly enthralling, with both men able to paint drama with their words,without eve needing to raise a sword. Finally Meereen has some experience on the high council. Season 5 has seen a major re-tooling of Daenerys' options, with the group whittled down to Daario, Jorah, Missandei, Grey Worm, Tyrion and Varys backing up Daenerys. They offer a fine mix of political and fighting skills, though Daario and Jorah have departed to find Daenerys. Meereen has played host to a slower, yet necessary, storyline of adjusting to power, but it feels like one more season of solidifying their authority before moving out for bigger things. The Sons Of The Harpy surprisingly aren't finished yet, so expect them to feature in Season 6.
