Game Of Thrones' 15 Hardest Characters (And How Likely They Are To Survive)

13. Jorah

Game of Thrones Jaime and Bronn
HBO

"You are looking at one of the great warriors of the seven kingdoms."

Disgraced and cast out twice in his lifetime, Jorah's journey has been tough. There's no doubt that the man can fight (and fight incredibly well, incidentally), but his woeful luck is something that will no doubt factor heavily in his fate.

Jorah Mormont is one of those excellent combinations of castle training and field experience. He has remarked also that he has fought people from all over the world and, as he told the slaver who captured him, he has killed a Dothraki Bloodrider in single combat.

His disadvantages are, of course, his age and his weakness for Daenerys. Weighing one against the other, his love for the Mother Of Dragons is easily the most likely to get him killed and, heading into the new season, he is racing into the wilderness to retrieve her with the enigmatic cut-throat, Daario. It's unlikely that he'll die in any other way than serving or protecting her.

Now let's talk about that Greyscale. While it's an emotionally harrowing ticking clock for fans of Jorah the explorer, it doesn't seem like it will be the thing to kill him. More likely it will be fixed along the way, or he will sacrifice himself for his love in spite or because of it.

It's not looking good no matter which way you slice it. We'll miss you, Jorah, but only as a friend.
