Game Of Thrones: 15 Plot Threads The Show Totally Abandoned

Oh Dorne.

A lot of complaints are aimed at the showrunners for the mistakes they made after going beyond the books, but arguably their biggest came with adapting something straight from the text. In a slight defence, the Dorne plot - or plots - is a fairly sprawling addition quite late in the day, so you can see why they tried to condense it, but less so why the writing, choreography, and acting around it was so bad.

Anyway, I digress. Dorne is quickly excised from the show, because, well, it was terrible, but that left one of the Seven Kingdoms as a major question mark.

There is a new Prince of Dorne, but we don't know who they are. Who don't know what happened to the Dornish army that was supposedly ready to support Daenerys Targaryen. We don't know if Ellaria Sand is alive (I mean, chances aren't good, but we'll never be sure). And we don't know why Dorne, the only kingdom Aegon didn't conquer, is now so happy to be a part of the Six Kingdoms.
