Every season Game Of Thrones seems to snap up more and more notable actors to add to its ever-expanding cast. Last year it was Ian McShane and Jonathan Pryce, this year one of those people is Jim Broadbent.

Since the announcement of his casting, fans have been wondering who exactly the veteran actor will play. It's rumoured he'll be taking on the role of the Grand Maester of The Citadel, a character who Sam Tarly will be interacting with on a regular basis.

It'd make sense, after all - Broadbent is commonly a bumbling, comedic figure, but his characters are also frequently wise and insightful. Besides, the chemistry between Jim Broadbent and John Bradley-West would be wonderful.
