As Gwendoline Christie's Emmy-nominated run as Brienne of Tarth wound down towards the end of the show, the screen and stage actress began exploring other opportunities, landing one of the lead roles in 2017's Top of The Lake: China Girl.
Her most famous role to date - aside from Thrones of course - was as Captain Phasma in both Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and even though she didn't appear in the saga's final film post-Thrones, she did lend her voice to animated series Star Wars Resistance.
Following GoT, she has appeared in The Personal History of David Copperfield and drama film The Friend.
A revelation in the role of Brienne, we should all expect to see Christie's career continue to flourish in the years ahead.
