2. Davos Seaworth
Season 6 has been a somewhat breakout year for the Onion
Knight. Stannis’ demise was truly a blessing in disguise for Davos as he leapt
onto the winning side from the sinking Baratheon ship.
Davos was instrumental in the preservation and resurrection of Jon, and while he claims not to be a leader of men, he certainly does understand them. There’s a certain Tyrion-esque air to Davos in the sense that he can read people like open books.
Lord Seaworth will ride into battle against the Bolton forces but unfortunately, that may be his journey’s end. The fan-favourite has lost everything he held dear, and his death would be impactful without being seismic. He seems ripe for the picking, but we can only hope Westeros’ only Geordie pulls through.
