4. Loras Tyrell

I think that Loras is effectively the appendix of Westeros high society insofar as he doesnt do very much thats useful, but hes always there, hanging around the more important players. However, you do notice him when things begin to go wrong, and that definitely happened this season. By refusing to keep it in his pants, Loras accidentally kyboshed his entire families plans and accidentally doomed his own future for the sake of some illicit rutting with a rentboy. As his grandmother admitted, hes always been a bit useless at anything which didnt involve knocking a man off a horse with a stick, but as long as he kept pottering along in the background we didnt mind him. After all, hes always been a bit of eye candy for the ladies and he''s a good fighter when he wants to be. Yet season three threw Loras into the mix and made him the architect of pretty much the biggest political mistake any character made this season (trusting the Freys notwithstanding). I think that in the future, we should keep him away from sharp objects and major storylines. You had one chance to make a good impression man, and you blew it.
