4. Dany The Conqueror
Having sourced a ship with the fortune of Xaro Xhoan Daxos at the end of Season 2, Daenerys Targaryen, with the seemingly loyal Ser Jorah Mormont at her side, sets out to the new locale of Slavers Bay in search of an army as she prepares to invade the seven kingdoms that she considers rightfully hers. Acquiring an army of Unsullied, the finest warriors that money can buy, through shrewd manipulation of their master's greed, she finds the immorality of the whole slave trade sickening and acts against it, turning her soldiers on those who once ruled over them as she conquers each of the area's three cities in turn, gaining additional followers in the form of freed slaves and mercenaries in the process. This gives her the capability to meet her ultimate objective, but also the moral dilemma of whether to abandon the people who consider her a saviour in order to pursue it.
