4. The Escape Of Sansa Stark
Whether or not you like Sansa, I think that we can all agree that leaving her in the nest of snakes that is Kings Landing is neither good for her nor us. And in Season 4, were finally gonna see her get a backbone and prove that for all her gentleness, she really is a Stark.
After the Purple Wedding (youll find out soon), Petyr Baelish sneaks her out of the city and takes her with him on his journey to the Vale to marry Lysa Arryn, Catelyns sister. Theyve been planning it for some time and the build up was already there in the third season, but season four is when well really get to see it play out. Going to the Vale and being forced to take on the persona of Petyrs b**tard daughter Alayne, Sansa really begins to grow up for the first time and get over all of her fairytale notions.
Its a development that will mean a lot down the future. Even now, after watching her take abuse for three seasons at the hands of all the Lannisters save Tyrion, the farther she is away from them, the happier Ill be.
