Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things You Might've Missed In 'Battle Of The Bastards'
4. Selective Memory
When the Greyjoys arrive in Meereen, Tyrion has no interest in making friends. Instead, he's still extremely bitter for the things Theon said to him when they last saw each other, at Winterfell. We all go along with it, because, well, Theon was a massive d*ck. Even he agrees.
However, revisiting the on-screen meeting of the pair back in Season 1, that's not exactly how it goes down. Sure, Theon makes the odd comment - he refers to Tyrion as "Imp" - but nowhere near as much as Tyrion is making out.
In actual fact, Tyrion says far worse things to Theon, goading him about being held captive by the Starks, calling Robb his master, and generally making jokes about his family (he does at leave give him money to visit a brothel, if that's any compensation). If anyone should be angry about the meeting, it should really be Theon.
