Game Of Thrones Season 7: 11 Crucial Things That Must Happen
10. Daenerys Defeats Euron
With a villainous vacancy in Westeros, Euron Greyjoy is ready to step into the breach. The Night King is still the overarching threat, but the Crow's Eye is set to be one of the human baddies this year (alongside Cersei), and one who should enter the conflict pretty swiftly.
He's going to be giving chase to Theon and Yara, which in turn will bring him to battle with Dany and her army. They're at sea, the battlefield Euron knows best, so we're all set for an early season showdown.
Daenerys can't fall at the first hurdle, so needs a considerable show of strength in victory here. Although I still think Euron will return - teaming up with Cersei, no less - he'll suffer losses here, setting the tone for Dany's arrival in Westeros (though it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine one of her supporting players being a casualty).
