Game Of Thrones Season 7: 9 Big Questions After 'Beyond The Wall'

9. What's Going On At Winterfell?

The plotline that really didn't work in Beyond The Wall was at Winterfell, where the conflict between the Stark sisters escalated, Sansa found the masks, and Arya threatened to take her face - before then giving her the dagger instead.

It was an odd scene that didn't really do service to either character, but what does it really mean? The show has been setting up a collision between the pair, orchestrated (in part) by Littlefinger, but the dagger suggests something different.

Is this setup for one of them to kill Littlefinger? Are they singing from the same hymn sheet here, and it's all a ruse? Is Arya giving Sansa the dagger a test of some sort? Or could we see these tensions build further, and Sansa's life genuinely put at risk, before an eventual swerve (it's hard to imagine Sansa will die next week, though it would undoubtedly deliver a major shock)?
