Game Of Thrones Season 7 Implications: What "The Queen's Justice" Really Means
7. Bran Is Home (And Really F*cking Weird)
One of the more surprising revelations of the episode came in the form of Bran Stark returning to Winterfell, without bothering to send an raven in advance. That's just discourteous.
His arrival heralded the clash of cultures of old Bran and new Bran. Instead of mirroring his sister's delight at their reunion, Brand was cold and weird, quite frankly. He announced himself to be the Three Eyed Raven, and "explained" himself by saying it was hard to explain.
Crucially, he flatly turned down being the true Lord of Winterfell as Ned Stark's last remaining son, and decided that the best way to prove he's a creepy mind-reading weirdo was to bring up her harrowing wedding night rape. Not cool, Bran. Not cool.
His next step seems to be telling Jon Snow what he knows about his past, and why that makes him important for the future. Once again, apparently a raven will not suffice, so he'll have to wait until Jon is back from Dragonstone (and where he goes after that).
