Game Of Thrones Season 8: 13 Predictions & Theories For The Battle Of Winterfell
1. Who Dies
With the Army of the Dead arriving at Winterfell, and the battle being the biggest ever, it means that there has to be a lot of death. That was basically what episode 2 was all about: spending one last happy evening with these characters before some of them are gone for good.
While Game of Thrones likes to shock, and equally there are some characters who absolutely have to survive, there are a few characters we can point to and say that they're almost certainly going to die.
Based upon this week's episode, where the story is and where it's going, those we should be VERY worried about include: Beric, who is basically committed to dying fighting the White Walkers; Theon, who is protecting Bran from the Night King; Edd, who is the last remnant of the Night's Watch; Grey Worm, who stupidly spoke about a better life after the battle; Qhono, because of the previous point about the Dothraki; and Yohn Royce, because the show has been reminding us he exists. There's also the matter of the direwolves too, IF they actually appear, while we can be reasonably concerned about the likes of Tormund, Jorah, Rhaegal, and Gendry now as well.
