4. Daenerys Targaryen

Last Time: As if you somehow forgot, last epsisode saw Dany breaking and becoming The Mad Queen of Westeros, having soaked King's Landing in fire and blood and making the Lannisters and their people pay for taking her throne and also murdering Rhaegal and Missandei.

She was last seen raining fire on the city from above.

What She'll Be Doing: This is the big question, but it seems the simplest answer is that she's going to die. There's no coming back from Dany unwittingly realising her destiny to follow in her father's footsteps. She cannot rule a people she has enslaved through violence and she can't be forgiven for what she did.

Dany will continue to be volatile and the only answer will be for someone to kill her, heartbreakingly and end the time of the Targaryens completely. When she dies, expect Drogon to react poorly and destroy the Iron Throne. He won't kill Jon, because he's a Targaryen, but he will probably take his mother away.
