Game Of Thrones Season 8 Trailer: 6 Big Hints (& 7 Questions We Have)
1. Who Dies & Who Survives The Battle?
Even in just brief flashes, the Battle of Winterfell looks like it's going to prove incredibly deadly. With that much fire, chaos, destruction, and enemies so powerful, there's no way all the characters can escape with their lives intact.
So who is going to perish here?
We can assume that the biggest characters will be making it to the end of the series, even if they then don't come out alive: the likes of Jon, Arya, and Jaime should be ok. It's the more secondary characters after that who are in real danger: Tormund, Beric, Jorah, Davos, Pod and so on. There's the potential for a lot of fan-favourites to go out here, but also some really fitting narratives that would be worthy of their exit as well. There's also the question of Winterfell itself: we've seen the Stark home burned down before, and it surely cannot survive this attack (and they may even have to sacrifice it to stay alive).
