1. There Was No Need To Show Beric

Every fan of Tormund - and we are legion, of course - would have been up in arms if there wasn't a hint that the MVP Wildling hadn't survived the fall of the Wall, but the decision was probably taken out of HBO's hands with Kristofer Hivju spotted on set a fair bit. He sticks out.

To that end, their inclusion of him in teaser material was entirely tolerable, but it was a little unnecessary to show that Beric Dondarrion also survived the fall of the Wall. Showing him in this trailer robs the hugely emotional sequence showing them fleeing but not visibly safe of any of its drama. It's not fatal by any means,
