It goes without saying that this article is absolutely riddled with spoilers. So, if you have not watched all of this amazing show so far then I would recommend that you don't read on. Even if you've read some of the books, I would still be wary of spoilers because apparently - I haven't started reading them yet myself - some of the events in the show are taken from surprisingly late in the series of novels. Don't say I didn't warn you.
For those of you who have seen the show right up to the end of season three and/or have read all the books, here is a list of the most heinous acts committed on HBO's Game of Thrones. Murders, betrayals, torture and more are discussed and ranked in ascending order of ghastliness. But what takes top spot in this most jaw-dropping of TV shows?
