3. Daenerys And Her Dragons Destroy The White Walkers

Daenerys Targaryan, the mother of dragons, considers herself the right ruler of Westeros €“ whether that's true or not, her appellation is certainly accurate. She is the "mother" to three dragons whom she raised from birth, who respond to her commands, and who get bigger every season. As she raises an army of freed slaves to take back Westeros, her dragons remain her greatest weapon. Meanwhile, for all of Westeros's internal problems, the greatest danger it faces may be coming from the North. The White Walkers, ghoulish monsters thought to be simple myths, have awakened, and while they haven't reached the Wall yet, it's only a matter of time. The havoc they stand set to wreak poses a catastrophic threat to the entire known world. Still, the White Walkers have a weakness €“ they can be killed by weapons made of dragonglass. Doesn't it stand to reason, then, that the fire of dragons would be effective, as well? Whether or not she takes the Iron Throne, Daenerys is sorely needed in Westeros. Her three pets can strike the White Walkers, reducing them to dust before they can cause any harm. Saving the world certainly wouldn't hurt her claim to the throne.
