Game Of Thrones Season 4 Trailer: 10 Things We Learned

3. The Stark Girls On The Run

We already saw in season three that Sansa Stark had a route away, with the aim of Littlefinger to take her with him when he goes to play house with the Tullys. In the trailer we see her with her hair covered up. Now while this might be because it's a bit cold this time of year up on the Vale of Arryn, it's also an ideal way of covering up that she's had her hair dyed by Littlefinger so she can assume the role of Alayne Stone €“ his bastard daughter. Of course this will prove problematic once they're in the North, but we'll finally start to hear who was behind the original plot that started this whole game €“ the death of Jon Arryn. Meanwhile, we also see some footage of Arya Stark, including one clip of her with her sword, Needle. The sword was lost back in season two when it was taken from her at Harrenhal and the reappearance means that she's found the person who took it whilst on her adventures with the Hound. Arya and the Hound are going to go on a bit of a tour of Westeros this season as he seeks to find her a new home. First they try the Vale, but have no luck and next they'll start heading down to Riverrun to the Tullys. One thing that I'm sure will be introduced this season is that Arya, like Bran, will start to see through the eyes of animals. This ends up being vital later after she travels to Braavos, and I suspect it'll give her some character growth during season four.
