Games Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: What 'The Dragon And The Wolf' Really Means

9. A Northern Rebellion?

When Dany and Jon plan what happens after Cersei agrees to send her armies North to help them fight the white army, Ser Jorah explains that it would be foolish for Dany to make herself a target among the Northern bannermen, as there will be some residual dislike of her among those who lost land and wealth in the Civil War.

She seemingly bats away the suggestion, saying that the Northerners will see her as saviour, as opposed to a conqueror, especially as she will travel with Jon to Winterfell as a symbolic power sharing statement. Also, as a means for them to have all of the sex on their sex boat.

In truth, Dany will probably face some sort of uprising, because it's what happens to her no matter where she goes. She will once more be forced to put down a rebellion with her words - though she will have Jon to help her this time - as the likes of Yohn Royce won't take kindly to a Targaryen ruling them.
