Who He Is: Victor Zsasz is a hitman and master assassin under the employ of Carmine Falcone. Keeping track of his kills, Zsasz carves a tally mark onto his skin for each victim that he claims. By the end of the first season, he has upward of thirty tallies on his person.

What He Did: When Jim Gordon crosses a line with Falcone, Victor Zsasz walks right into the SCPD to collect Gordon. WhenGordon asserts that the precinct filled with police officers would never allow  Zsasz to take him by force, Zsasz orders the cops out of the room...and they comply. Although Gordon escapes with his life, a female officer is killed in the subsequent showdown. Zsasz later kidnaps Barbara to use as leverage against Gordon. After a shootout with Fish Mooney and her henchmen, her right hand Butch is captured...and tortured into submission by Zsasz. 

Current Status: At large and presumably at work. Zsasz's exact tally mark is unknown, but he shows no sign of switching professions.
