Gotham: 10 Reasons Why It’s A Bust

7. Penguin's Plan Is Obvious

In the world of Gotham, Oswald Cobblepot has proved himself to be a ruthless and tactical killer. Despite his disability, he proves to be a threat to any person who gets in his way. That being said, his plan to take over all crime in the city is as transparent as shrink wrap. Within the narrative, he is working for Maroni while secretly working for Falcone. This only serves him in order to use Falcone to take out Maroni and vice-versa; he's attempting to use both parties to eliminate each other. And any fan watching the show can see this plot a mile away. Somehow Falcone and Maroni (who are supposedly very street smart) are not intelligent enough to figure it out? Will he succeed? He'll probably end up taking out one of the two crime lords and end up working under the other until he can figure a way to kill that one. Hopefully, the survivor will see it as clearly and predictably as everyone watching will.
