House Of Cards: Ranking All The Main Characters From Worst To Best
5. Remy Danton
Remy Danton is fairly unique in the House Of Cards world, because whilst he was a very entertaining character who butted heads with Frank as often as he worked with him, he came out of the show unscathed and without too much damage.
He was shown to be a person that Frank had respect for and could influence Claire beyond her usual allegiance to her Husband and their meticulous plan.
Played by the staggering Mahershala Ali, who left the show to pretty much win an Oscar, then another one, he gave Danton a strong presence and calculating personality.
He wasn't without his share of political compromise, his relationship with Jackie Sharp was always a good plot thread to see unfold as the two of them often conspired with and against one another. Which in the end, ended their relationship after a deal he made with Raymond Tusk.
Once he left there was a void in the series that was never really filled and the show suffered for that.
