House Of The Dragon: Everything We Know So Far

5. Behind The Scenes Game Of Thrones Returns

House of the Dragon
HBO

With the events of House of the Dragon taking place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, any on screen character crossover will be impossible. Even Maester Aemon would be too young to make an appearance in both shows. However, behind the scenes is a different matter.

The world of streaming has made it so easy for audiences to mindlessly skip through opening credits these days, however there are some shows that you just couldn't. Game of Thrones is one such show, with one of the most iconic opening themes in all of television.

The man behind such a wonderful score, and who won Emmys for multiple episodes outside of the opening credits is Ramin Djawadi. The composer, who also worked on Westworld, and fresh off scoring Eternals, will be returning for House of the Dragon. Arguably, this is one of the most exciting aspects of the entire show.

Another to return to the World of Ice and Fire after working on Game of Thrones will be Miguel Sapochnik. Listed as an executive producer for the series, and set to direct one episode according to IMDb, Sapochnik will hopefully bring the same magic he brought when directing The Battle of the Bastards, Hardhome, and more.
