How I Met Your Mother: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One

Much like Stella, Zoey is another controversial figure from HIMYM. Throughout Season 6, Zoey goes from Ted’s enemy, to friend, to girlfriend, to ex-girlfriend. They meet during Zoey’s quest to save an old hotel called the Arcadian, which is set to be destroyed to make room for Ted’s new building. Though initially this causes Ted and Zoey to become enemies, the gang eventually accidentally befriend Zoey, and then she and Ted start to date, though the relationship eventually explodes along with the Arcadian.

Though Ted and Zoey's relationship wasn't the easiest, since the two disagreed over practically everything, their relationship was hilarious. Their disagreements proved to be a stark contrast to Marshall and Lily's ultra supportive relationship, which in and of itself is funny, but also reminds the audience and Ted exactly what Ted is looking for. Watching them argue about the true meaning of Tommy Boy, for example, proved to be hysterical and uniquely Ted and Zoey.

Though the relationship was doomed to fail, Ted and Zoey's dynamic is still fun to watch.
