How I Met Your Mother: All Of Barney's Love Interests Ranked From Worst To Best

Abby, played by Britney Spears, is a poor, naive girl that Barney uses to get back at Ted who has cut Barney out of his life. Abby is also the girl that starts to put other women on the alert about Barney and his womanizing ways.

Barney ends up dating her to make Ted upset, seeing as Abby has a huge crush on Ted, and he even goes so far as to fake propose to her in the bar. She thinks that the proposal is real however, and begins telling everyone she knows that she is finally engaged.

Barney simply uses this poor girl to get back at Ted, but she is not the worst choice of a partner to have. Although a little slow on the uptake, she seems like a sweet woman with a lot of heart, and a whole lot of personality. Unable to put down the phone even when being screamed at, and even stating her love for Ted multiple times unprovoked.

This proves that she has such a huge heart that if Barney had tried to look into it, he probably could've seen how sweet she was.
