How I Met Your Mother: All Of Robin's Love Interests Ranked Worst To Best

Gael is an Argentine masseuse and windsurfer that Robin meets on vacation after breaking up with Ted. It’s a classic case of a vacation romance that failed the test of everyday life. Instead of leaving Gael in Argentina, Robin drags him to New York with her where the relationship promptly falls apart.

Gael splits the gang in half. Ted and Barney hate him for obvious reasons. Lilly is all over him. Marshall tries to hate him in solidarity with his friends but Gael wins him over with a superb massage.

It all comes to a head when Gael retains his beachside bohemian manners in the concrete jungle that is New York City. He invites travellers into Robin’s home and this irritates her to no end. She ends up chasing them away with a gun one night before breaking up with him.
