7. The Business Subplots Are Incredibly Boring

You know what a TV show revolving around a guy who punches things with a glowing fist needs? Subplots about the day-to-day operations of a major business...

Yes, much of Iron Fist's screen time is devoted to the workings of Rand Enterprises, as overseen by Danny's childhood friends Ward (Tom Pelphrey) and Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup).

This is the show at its most soap opera-esque, with illogical corporate power plays, substance abuse drama and cringe-worthy blackmail subplots that only take time away from, well, literally anything else.

It doesn't help that the Meachums aren't particularly interesting characters, but the real sin here is that Danny gets pulled into the corporate nonsense, when he should be spending more time using that precious fist.
