Iron Fist: 10 Reasons It's A Massive Disappointment

8. Finn Jones' Forgettable Lead Performance

Finn Jones unfortunately fails to make much of his protagonist, and while it's definitely not entirely his fault given the slack writing, he's also mostly lacking the charismatic appeal of the other Defenders.

He's a boring, naive, often infuriatingly impulsive character and Jones can't do much to imbue him with real personality. He's frequently overshadowed by the series' better performances (especially Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing), and it's tough to see what Marvel were thinking when they hired him.

Some of his dire line readings aside, Jones' work quickly fades into the mental periphery because it's so generically going through the motions.
