It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: The Gang's Most Outrageous Exploits From Each Season

5. The Waitress Is Getting Married (Season 5)

The love of Charlie€™s life, the Waitress, is getting married, and the Gang is worried the news will shatter Charlie and lead him to kill them all. Dee works on sabotaging the wedding for her own jealous reasons, insulting the Waitress in front of her fiancée Brad. She throws the Waitress a bachelorette party, inviting Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Mac, and newly formed bang buddies Frank and Artemis to gross Brad out. Meanwhile, Dennis and Mac work on helping Charlie forget about the Waitress, leading to some of the most memorable moments of the series. First, they create an online dating profile, but all Charlie wants to talk about on it are milk steaks and little green ghouls. Plus, his face is covered in welts after trying to get honey from a hornet€™s nest and he wants to dress like Sherlock Holmes to attract intelligent women. It€™s endearing in its naivety. On the actual date Charlie is a sweaty mess, reeks of the cheese he devoured to calm his nerves, and mispronounces his made-up career of €œphilanthropist€ as €œfull-on rapist.€ The date quickly leaves, and not even Mac€™s offer to set her and Charlie up in the coatroom for a quick bang can save the day. Brad ends up breaking it off with the Waitress, but Charlie gives him his wedding gift anyway: a box full of hornets.
