Legion Season 2: 8 Major Questions We Need Answers To

1. Are We Ever Going To Meet David's Dad?

Legion season 1 never outright confirmed the identity of David's dad, but a glimpse of a familiar X-shaped wheelchair in a flashback in Chapter 7 told us all we needed to know. Yes, David Haller is the son of Professor X.

Given this, all Marvel fans can talk about is when are we going to see Charles Xavier turn up on Legion? Obviously, the series is a very separate beast from the X-Men movie universe, so ordinarily it would be a good idea not to get our hopes up. However, Hawley has frequently hinted that this is going to happen. He's even said that he and the team are "working on it."

So which version of Professor X should appear on the show? As Deadpool would say: McAvoy or Stewart? Hawley has teased this too, stating that he thinks either one of them could work, depending on the circumstances.

"On some level it depends on who would do it. And when we reach that part of the story, is it funnier if he’s older or younger than his dad?”

Of course, the most fun answer would be: why not both? Just put McAvoy in flashbacks to David's childhood and Stewart in scenes set in the present day. Make it happen, Fox.
