Legion Season 2: 8 Major Questions We Need Answers To

Here's the thing about Legion. As great as it is, the show in its current form is getting the comic book character of David Haller wrong. On the page, the most notable part about about him (apart from his electroshock hair) is the fact that he has multiple personalities, each of whom controls a different part of his power. That's why he's called Legion.

So far, the series has made the choice to only focus on the two-way battle between David and the Shadow King. But now that Farouk is out of his head, this could be the time to explore David's mentality fracturing even more and to see him develop these other personalities.

Though we haven't heard for certain that season 2 will go down this road, Noah Hawley has teased in the past that he definitely intends to introduce this element of David's character into the show at some point, so let's not rule it out. Here's what he said:

“We haven’t even really scratched the surface of the number of characters or entities that are contained within Legion. The Shadow King was obviously one of them and a large part. But there’s a lot more going on and anyone who knows the comics knows the scope of the world in which its set. So yeah, there’s a lot more to dig out of his head.”
