3. Lenny Busker
It seemed like much of the praise for Legion's first season was focussed on Aubrey Plaza, who stole the show as the human form of the Shadow King. Perhaps to ensure that the whole cast got their fair share of the acclaim this time around, Plaza's role was reduced for much of this season, as Farouk got his own face back and no longer had need for his Lenny mask.
What happened then is that we got to know the real Lenny Busker for the first time - a lifelong junkie who's as messed up as David. Plaza is as good as ever at exploring this more textured take on the character, though she doesn't get to chew the scenery as often. That said, Chapter 13 is all hers and she gets to really let loose in Chapter 17 when Lenny goes on a wild bender.
Lenny's arc in season 2 is certainly a fascinating one - she's effectively a prisoner throughout, either trapped by Farouk, Division 3 or by the fact that she has Amy in her head. And then, in the finale, David takes her with him when he runs away, making her a stooge to a supervillain once again. Maybe Lenny will find her freedom and the ability to think for herself next season.
