Loki Episode Four: 10 Biggest Questions
4. Will Loki Tell Sylvie How He Feels?
Loki has never had his romantic relationship explored throughout his time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, now that he is the main character in his own series, there is more time to look at him in this different light, and see a truly new side to him.
In episode three, he confirmed to Sylvie that he is bisexual, and by the end of the same episode, he had fallen completely in love with her. Mobius, rather harshly, described this as a sick and twisted romantic relationship that could break all reality.
One way you could look at it is that it's incredibly narcissistic of Loki to fall in love with another version of himself. It would be perfectly on brand for him, but Sylvie is not really a Loki. She is her own character, and is very different to the God of Mischief that we all know and love.
Just before being pruned, Loki began to try and confess his love for Sylvie, but didn't have time to quite say what he wanted to say. This was all very new to him, and he uncharacteristically stumbled over his words somewhat, but will he ever get the chance to tell her what he wanted to say?
Even if he gets the chance, will he have had second thoughts about it by then?
