Making A Murderer Season 2 Review: 2 Ups & 5 Downs

1. It's Still Biased (And In A Far More Vulgar Way)

The show actually begins with what appears to be a statement of greater impartiality, but that soon gives way to something far more vulgar. This just isn't the one-sided affair critics of the first season's bias might have hoped for and it's seemingly "justified" by a somewhat tasteless self-congratulatory stance.

In place of a balanced argument, we get reminders of how adored the first season was, how well it did, how much of a global impact it had. It all feels like back-slapping and any allusion to a more balanced approach soon evaporates, which is a shame.

In place of that, it would have been nice to see a new perspective, but that's also completely missing.

And now to the positives...
