5. Justin Berfield - Reese
Justin Berfield starred as Reese, Malcolm's heavy-handed and dim-witted older brother.
His performance as the almost entirely insensitive, and least intellectually gifted member of the Wilkerson family served as a perfect counterpoint to Malcolm's hyper-intelligent neuroses, and it was difficult not to find Reese lovable even in his degeneracy.
Before Malcolm in the Middle, he appear in over 100 episodes of Unhappily Ever After, and then appeared in all 151 episodes of MITM. This made him the youngest actor ever to have appeared in 100 episodes of two different TV shows.
After Malcolm in the Middle ended, Berfield decided to focus on producing, and all but gave up acting entirely.
After a 2010 guest appearance in TV show Sons of Tuscon, Berfield no longer acts but instead is the Chief Creative Officer of Virgin Produced, a film and TV development branch of the Virgin Group.
