11. K'Un Lun

As was established in the Iron Fist series, K'Un Lun is one of the so-called Seven Capitals of Heaven - an important idea when it comes to Danny Rand facing his enemies as the series ramps up.

The setting isn't involved in the show other than in nostalgic references by Alexandra and her fellow Fingers of The Hand, and Stick tells the story of how they came to be banished from the mystical land. He says each of the five heretics - the Fingers - were cast out like "lucifer out of Heaven", once more linking to that idea of K'Un Lun as a heavenly capital.

The Hand's back-story is explored in much greater detail here as Jessica Jones in particular follows the organisation's business trail. As she looks through the records, she comes across the name Yoshioka, which of course refers to Kagenobu Yoshioka, the founder of the Hand in the comics who appeared named simply Nobu in Daredevil.
